Research and Mentoring
The BioRISE project brings together Tribal Nations, collaborating with Washington State University, the University of Idaho, and industry partners to create, implement, and analyze research projects that expand our understanding of biological resilience at many levels. We partner Native mentors and trainees with academic mentors for a year-long, paid research experience, building skills and knowledge for all those involved.
